In the 1850 census book created by the Lexington Genealogical Association, Cedecia Lydia Corley is shown to be the daughter of Reuben Corley and Mary Ann Roberts Corley. It is said that he first husband was an "Unknown" Sharpe.

In the 1880 census for Boiling Springs, Lexington County, I find Cedecia Sharp living with her three children. She is shown as a widow. The youngest son was about 11 months old at the time of the census, so the "Unknown" Sharp could have died about 1879.

Does anyone have any information on this family? I am mainly interested in any information that I can find about any children that Cedecia and "Unknown" Sharpe may have had.

Cedecia was the sister of my of my great grandfather John Patrick Corley.
