I am interested corresponding with any Harter researchers who might have information on the following individual: Johann George Harter, born in Germany somewhere in the range of 1729 to 1735, and married 1753 in Pennslyvania. We thought we had his parents as Andraes and Anna Catharina (Zahner) Harter of Oberdigisheim, but apparently the church records there contained no record of him, nor was there any room for another unrecorded birth (16 children in 21 years!). Right now I am a bit frustrated in knowing where to turn next. I do not find any immigrant on ship records that I can readily identify as the correct person.
