Town of Petersburg was flooded around 1952 to create Thurmond Lake per article appearing in Griffin Daily News Wed. Sept 4, 2002 VIA Associated press.

Article states that before flooding graves and tombstones were dug up and moved, does anyone know WHERE these graves were moved and/or is there a listing somewhere listing WHO and dates on markers?
