Seeking information about the New Jersey Memorial Soldier's Home in Kearny, New Jersey. One of my relatives, Frank Van Iderstine, lived there from 1907 until his death, sometime after 1920. He was a veteran of the Civil War. Any information ok. (i.e., is it still there?, when did it open?, how many residents were there? are records still available?)
