PHILIP MARION FAULK served 4 yr. in the civil war under GENERAL LEE.
he was of German and Scotch-irish ancestry.One of his son's (JOHN C. FAULK) came to tx. and settled in upsher co. in 1874.lots more on FAULK in texas.
