Looking for information on Benjamin Russel and his wife Jane in Franklin Co., WV. Jane was the widow of Fleming Vest, her maiden name was Jane Boid from Franklin Co. VA. Benjamin and Jane married in Mercer Co. and had several children together. Jane also had children from her marriage to Fleming. Benjamin was also from Franklin Co., VA. From the 1880 census I can not tell if Benjamin was married before, but it is possible. Their daughter Harriet O. Russel married my gggrandfather James Mitchem. In 1900 James and Harriet and children were living in Ada, Mercer Co., WV. Would appreciate any information on Benjamin and/or Jane. Thank you.
