Seeking info on the abovenamed... Henry supposedly was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, but I don't see any census records that could match. He went to South Africa in WWI, and, so the story goes, liked it there and stayed. He married Agnes ??? there in the 1920s and had son Edward and daughter Pamela, and then after Agnes died there, married Winifred Reeve there in 1936 and had son Robert and daughter Jeannette. I have looked in the usual places (ancestry.com, familysearch, findagrave) and found that he died in Arlington, VA in 1970 and was buried there. My first actual record of him is his 2nd marriage record in 1936. Then I have death info. But where was he from his birth in 1893 until 1936? How long was he in South Africa? At what point did he come back to the USA? And, what was his first wife's full name? I have a friend (his grandchild) who would really like to know.
