I was born on November 15, 1971 in Shakopee,Scott County, Minnesota.. My birth given Name was Amy Sue Livington. I was taken back to Sioux City, Iowa when i was an infant. I lived with my birth family for approximately 18 months before I was taken away because my birth father abused me . My birth family fought for 3 years to keep me but My birth mother was given a choice to keep me and leave my birth father or stay with my birth father and lose me forever. She choose to lose me forever.. I was adopted at the age of 5. What I know about my birth family is that I have 3 to 4 older brothers who went to live with my grandparents . My grandparents did not want me because i was a girl. After my adoption . I learned that my birth mother had a another child The state of Iowa took the baby right after birth. Do not know if it was a boy or girl. I have been trying for over 20 years to find and locate my birth family.
