I am looking for information from any descendants from the following families (Steele, Brenton, Deming, Ingham) that have information regarding these three sisters and daughters of James & Lois Ensign Steele, descendants of Gov. William Bradford of Connecticut (Mayflower). I am hoping that among your very precious treasures that you might have family letters, papers of guardianship, wills, etc. that show the family connection to their sister, Elizabeth Steele b. 1763 CT. In order to show that there is a definite connection between my ancestor and her sisters, proof is needed with copies of documentation. This would help to break down my brick wall regarding Elizabeth. I am happy to correspond and am willing to pay for copies and postage.
