I'm trying to trace my great grandfather - Harold Edward Hickling. He was born in Nottingham in about 1897. He left the UK in 1930 for Melbourne, Australia, leaving his wife (Constance Gertrude Bradbury) and his 3 children (Dennis Hickling, Constance, and Cyril) They all lived in Nottingham. His job title on the departure list was knitter but I also think he was involved in lace manufacturing. If anyone knows what happened to him I'd love to know! Claire
