A few months ago I requested help to trace Doris Owens who lived at 781 Atherton Road Wigan Lancashire in 1947 when she was a Student Nurse 1 Originally I thought this was Doris Owens born in 1930 But now know this is NOT the right Doris as she was to young to be on the electoral register in 1947 The Doris Owens I am now focusing my search on was born on 11th February 1925 in Stockport Cheshire and was the Daughter of Clifford Gladstone Owens married to Doris Measures. Doris Owens Mother (Doris Measures)died 3days after she was born on 14th February 1925 On the marriage certificate of my Doris Owens to David Selwyn Birch in 1951 she is described as a Health Visitor. The piece of my jigsaw that I need to prove is that Doris Owens born on 11th Feb 1925 is the SAME Doris Owens that lived at 781 Atherton Road Wigan in 1947 as a Student Nurse and gave birth to a child on 19th July 1947 in Billinge and Winstanley Hospital (NO Fatherts name on Birth Certificate )I have tried every avenue and still cant find this out I dont know if I can find this out through student nurse records Any help will be appreciated Thanks Pam
