i am distantly related to the abbotts through my ancestor, john dane jr. who was a physician in ipswich, massachusetts. i am searching for information on the descendants of accused witch nehemiah abbott jr. and his wife, remember (fiske) abbott. he is the son of nehemiah abbott sr. and mary (howe) abbott and, thus, a grandnephew to reverend francis dane of andover, massachusetts; rev. dane's sister, elizabeth (dane) howe, was nehemiah jr.'s grandmother through his mother mary (howe) abbott. any information on nehemiah abbott jr.'s descendants would be greatly appreciated as i am researching a book on the descendants of the people that were either accused, hanged, or were just unwittingly involved in the salem witch trials "in the year of our Lord sixteen hundred and ninety-two." thanks.
