I have hit a total road block researching the Daire family. I know that they were among the first settlers of Ville Platte. My mother, Verline Daire, told me that she beleives the Library in Ville Platte may contain information about early Ville Platte and the Daire family. The problem is that we live in Idaho. Can someone put me in contact with a Ville Platte resident who may be willing to do a little scouring in the VP library for me?
