Looking for info on this distant branch of the SWANS on my mums side of the family.

Robert Swan (1835) born in Liberton, Midlothian, Edinburgh married his wife Ann Pollock in 1858 in Edinburgh.

As far as I am aware they had a son David born around 1860 in Edinburgh. Shortly afterwards they depart for New Zealand.

They move to Dunedin, where they have more children Andrew Lees(c1860), James(c1862), Robert(c1863), John(c1869), Katherine(c1867) & Annie Ethal(c1873).

Katherine married William Murie in 1897 and had at least 5 children Andrew Swan Murie(c1898), Robert Clynton Murie(c1899), Katherine Grace Murie(c1902), William Denovan Murie(c1904) & Nancy Murie(c1909)
