I have the following information on my UREN line :

Enoch James Uren (born 1832 - Gulvall, Cornwall) departed Cornwall for South Africa on the ship "Edward Oliver" in September 1858. His wife Louisa (born CORIN) accompanied him.

In December 1859, Enoch's mother, Mary UREN (born MARTIN) left Cornwall on the ship "Jalawar" together with the following children:

William Uren - (my great-grandfather)
Richard Uren
Elizabeth Uren
and Thomas Uren (who was the son of Enoch and Louisa)

Enoch Warren James UREN was Mary UREN's husband and did not accompany them as he had died in Cornwall in 1847. (My great-great-grandfather).
