I am looking for Hardin's who would have migrated to Texas
and Arkansas around 1850 or before.The route into Texas
was through Grayson county. Crossing the Red River which
forms the state border of part of north Texas with Oklahoma
territory to the north.
I have an unknown great granddad who was born in Ky.Who
claimed he came from Hardin county.He met a woman from Ark. whom he married. They had at least one son in Tx where
they lived somewhere near Dallas.This son was John T. Hardin
born 1854,my granddad.
I do find a few "John Hardins"of the same age in Tx.Am trying
to find the right family for him. Can someone please give me
assistance??
