I am a genealogist who's concentration has been on RI adoptees and birthparent reunions. I am interested in knowing the names of the foster parents that The Sophia Little Home used for temporary placement of infants during the first six months of life (Grace/Coersion Period)prior to adoption. I was told that in 1960-1970 there were anywhere from 8 to 20 families that were designated as foster families for this home. Please contact me should you know the names of any Foster Parents from the Cranston, Warwick, Providence, etc areas that took in "infants" (0-6 months) during the 1960's to 1970's.
