Surnames: Beasley, English, Greer, Haynes, Hudson, others
By 1837 Frederick Hudson and his family were in Noxubee County, Ms. Frederick's wife, Lucy Greer, dau. of William Greer (Sr...1748)and his wife, Jane Haynes, is reported by two sides of the family to have died both in Georgia and in Noxubee County??

The Haynes families were all related to the Greer families, as was the Beasley family....Mrs. Nancy Beasley was an English by birth, with her mother being a Haynes, and her grandmother a Greer.

Presently in contact with others who are searching these lines, if you have any connections with the above names please contact me.

My grandfather, Isaac Lafayette Hudson was born in Shuqualak, 24 April 1872. His mother died at his birth. Her name was Sarah Eliza Watson. I know nothing about her?? Any Watson researchers out there? Ike's father, William Beasley Hudson died 1877 and is buried in the Hudson Family Cemetery, on the old Hudson Plantation, Shuqualak, Ms., as is his father, John, and grandfather, Frederick.

McNees, Samual Clayton...married Mary W. Beasley (Mrs. Lumpkin) who was a sister to my great grandmother, Elizabeth Beasley Hudson, wife of John. H.O. Beasley was a brother to these two girls, as well as another sister, Annie, who married John Hudson's brother, William Greer Hudson. W.G. Hudson died in Georgia, as did Sarah Annie. Their son, Henry Ann Hudson, grew up in Shuqualak with his uncle and aunt, John and Elizabeth, and then, with his grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Beasley.
