I have researched our family history back to mid-1700's. My Muro family lived in Sauz de Los Marques which is between Colotlan and Santa Maria De Los Angeles. We are finding records in both parishes and currently we are starting to look in Villanueva, Zacatecus since that is a border town, we are also finding ancestors. We still think we have quite a bit of family living in and around the area. If anyone knows of our family, please contact me. My grandfather was Antonio Muro b. 1888, his father was Casimiro Muro born 1842 married to Francisca Carrillo. They had 15 children. Three of them came to the US in 1911 but most of them stayed in Mexico, so I'm sure my dad still has first cousins still there.
