Deceased Name: HARRY COOPER
Harry Cooper, 102, Devils Lake, formerly of Sheyenne, N.D., died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997, in Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake.
Harry Cooper was born Oct. 2, 1895, the son of Bryan and Susie Cooper, in Grafton, N.D. He grew up and attended school in Warwick, N.D. He joined the U.S. Army during World War I. He married Louise Thumm in Warwick, where they farmed. They moved to Great Falls, Mont., for a few years and then returned to Sheyenne. Louise Cooper died in 1982. He moved to the Good Samaritan Home in 1988.
He is survived by daughters, Hazel Myhro, Devils Lake, and Marie Nelson, Minneapolis; sons, Thomas, Forth Collins, Colo., and Frank, Minneapolis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and two brothers.
Services: Were held in Riverside Cemetery, Sheyenne.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery (Gilbertson, Devils Lake).
