Julio Fierro and Margarita Perales
I am looking for any information on the family of Julio Fierro and his wife Margarita Perales born after 1850 that lived in one of the States fairly close to the USA border. Some of their children were Onesimo, Augustin, Joaquin, Manuel, and Regina. I don't know the birth order but I believe that Onesimo was born about 1881. I would really appreciate any help in locating any family records or living family from Mexico. I will enjoy your suggestions also.
Thank you,
Maynard Small

I would guess that the conjunction of Fierro and Perales in my name are merely coincidence, as relates to your query, but here goes. The Perales in my family are from Durango. My granfather Antonio Perales was a vaquero and also a butcher there. He mentioned to me having known Hipolito Villa, Pancho Villas brother. My grandfather was a spy for the revolutionarys and was forced to flee to the border. My father Juan Francisco was born 1918 in Mexico near El Paso. The family settled in Riverside California. Antonio Perales wife, my grandmother was Juana Rivas, reputedly of the landed gentry. A cousin relates to me that Antonio Perales fell into a well and was there three days before being rescued. Juana nursed him to health and they fell in love.As for the Fierros you might try Dr. Brondo Whitt's book (for starters) LOS PATRIARCOS DEL PAPIGOCHI. It is a very thorough geneology of the Ciudad Guerrero area west of Ciudad Chihuahua and contains all of the old founding families of that area. I have Fierro cousins there. Also LuzCorral Fierro, born in San Andres Chihhuahua in 1892, was Pancho Villas wife(recognised as such by President Obregon after Villas assasination), she maintained Villas home in Chihuahua antil her death in 1981. If you encounter Fierros related to her then you are onto my family and I will be happy to share what I know, which is a fair amount. Good luck.

Hello Antonio: Thanks so much for taking the time to try and help in my searches for Fierro's. Since I wrote that posting, I have found that the family that I am chasing is not Julio Fierro, it is Mariano Fierro and Maria Margarita Perales. Their son that I am sure of and have records to verify is Onesimo Fierro and he was born in Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila, MX in February of 1880. I have heard that Mariano and Margarita also had sons named Agustin Fierro, Manuel Fierro, Juaquin Fierro and a daughter named Regina Fierro that married a fellow named Guillermo Losoyo. I will search some for a conection to the families you mention and get back to you if I find something. Thanks a lot. Maynard

Re: Julio Fierro and Margarita Perales
Hello! My name is Clyde Aguilar. My Grandfather, Jose Maria Aguilar Corral (or Corrales) was born in approx. 1881 in San Andres, Chihuahua, Mexico. He came in the US with my Grandmother Maria Jesus Primo Moreno in approximately 1910. Luz Corral was a cousin of my Grandfather's and corresponded with my Grandmother. My father and hia sister (my aunt) visited with Luz in 1970 at her Pancho Villa museum in Cuidad Chihuahua. I have a photo of them in front of her house. I am looking to tie Luz with my Grandfather through the Corral side. Can you help? Thank you for your time.
