Surnames: Quantrill, Crocker
I have been researching this mystery for 15 years. I have proof "Beyond Shadow of doubt" That Leonard Joseph Crocker of Woodruff County was in reality the infamous Outlaw William Clarke Quantrill!
This includes a massive lot of evidence.
I have e mailed the Historical Society and offered to present this to them, but apparently they haven't taken interest.
I am currently working with some Crocker descendants that I have 100% lineage to the man Quantrill portrayed in Arkansas. This family is somewhat aware that their ancestors permitted Quantrill to assume L.J.'s identity.
Expert Researchers on the Knight's of the Golden Circle agree with my findings and have evidence that Quantrill did live after the CivilWar; They simply didn't know where.
I believe we have an oppourtunity to change some American Civil War History. Hopefully the Woodruff County Historical Society is open enough to view this before the book is released.
