St. Casimir and St. Dominic Church Cemetery Transcriptions

Does anyone know if these cemeteries have been transcribed? I would like to get jpegs of my ancestors' grave stones, but without a transcription there is no way to describe the location of the graves to a photographer willing to help me with this project.

Whose graves are you looking for? Several of us are working on transcribing the cemeteries in PI County. If you send me your e-mail address, I'll see what we can do. bj

Hi, We recently went out and transcribed Old St. Dominic's cemetery and took pictures of many of the headstones. It was put on the GenWeb Page for PI County this week. If you let me know which headstones you would like a picture of, I can send a copy to you. - bj

I am a copy of St. Casimirs and St. Dominics which I extracted from the work of NEMGS of these cemeteries and I believe is only current up to 1979.

If you or anyone else would like me to email you a copy I would be more than happy.

Also I am also interested in obtaining a copy of the ongoing work of St. Dominics if you could be so kind.

Hi J,
My name is Mike leskie. My fathers ancestors are from Metz and Posen. I would appreciate a copy for both cemetaries. My great grandfather was Michael Strzelecki married to Kate. I believe Jacob Strzelecki was his brother. They are both listed on the St. Casimirs parish roster in 1879. Also would like to know if anyone has any info on an Alpena police officer named Joseph Leski from around 1880.
Thanks
Mike macl5231@aol.com

Mike;

My g-g-grandfather was Jacob Strzelecki, and yes he was a brother to your ancestor. I have located this family in records in Poland along with your ancestors marriage record.

Would be great to share information with you.
