Is my 4th great grandfather. I have just made this connection the last two days on my tree. I had found a web site that takes this line back to 1055..I was not positive about this information as I've never in my wildest dreams would believe that Id make such a connection that goes that far back! So after reading much on the board and the Ogle Web site I am convinced that yes those are my roots!! I'd like to hook up with others from this line and learn all I can.

I am Steve Watson, son of Robert Stephen Watson. His father was Jesse Stephen Watson who died in Chattanooga in 1946. His father was Asa or Ace Lemons Watson and his father was William "Black Bill" Ogle. Cool stuff I'm just finding out myself. So ole Black Bill is my 3rd grandfather I think.

I'm happy to hear from you! the Ogles have a very interesting family line as well as the Watson family. My grandma is a Watson.

I'm a little confused, are you saying that Asa Lemons Watson father was William Black Bill Ogle? I have Asa Lemons Watson father listed as David Corn Watson and his wife was Rachel Ogle.Rachel Ogle father was William Black Bill Ogle.

This is a big family line and easily to get confused lol but id like to follow up with you and hope my info is correct.
