I am looking for information on Francis MADAGAN who married my recently deceased great grandfather Benjamin Franklin KELLY. Ben was born in Warren County (as far as I know) and moved to Erie, PA to build locomotives at GE. His son Earl Lareu KELLY worked at GE until he fell ill from leukemia. Earl met my grandmother Alberta HEPNER in Lawrence Park. My father David Sr. is one of their four children. Ben's father, Albert KELLY was born a bit north of Warren in New York State according to my uncle Lloyd KELLY (Ben's son). This is as far as I am able to go with my father's side. Any info would be appreciated.

My grandmother - Kathryn King (Upson) Metcalf had been doing our Kelly genealogy for 30 years and had problems locating info on our Kelly line. I have spent the last 5 years doing the research (she died in 1998). I have been trying for that time to find living relatives and you are one of them! Oh my gosh this is wonderful. I am your second cousin once removed and we share a Great Grandfather, John Frances Madigan. My name is Sandra Lee Hawkinson. My Mother was the niece of Frances Magidan, daughter of Edna Mae Madigan and Leland Ned Anderson. Our family moved to Erie also in the 1960 and my dad worked at Zurn. My mom still lives in Erie and kept in touch with Elberta until her death. They visited family graves in Warren area with a couple of other relatives not long before Elberta died.

I have collected quiet a bit on the Madigan and Anderson lineages since I started this last month. I have traced us all the way back to Isaac Allerton Mayflower Pilgrim. I had a lot of help from the research Barbara Wise gave my Aunt Vivian (your second cousin).
