All I know right now about my Lucetta Knott is that (according to family) she was born 22-Apr-1859 in Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL. An older distant cousin tells me that she did have a sister named Rachel, and a brother that he knew of but couldn't recall his name. I checked the 1860 Henderson County census and came up with only one Knott family:

I see that there is a Lucetta Nott listed in the 1870 Henry County Iowa census index, but haven't checked on her yet. Also there in 1870 were: Aaron Nott, Asbuth Nott, Henry Nott and William A. Nott. They are all on different pages also.

I don't know for sure where Lucetta Knott married John Whitaker, but it was on 09-Oct-1875. Their second child born in 1878 is said to have been born in Grandview?, Louisa County, Iowa. I'm afraid I don't have any other info on Lucetta's parents or siblings, still searching!

My gggrandfather Charles Lisenby was married to a Mary Naught. She was born in 1794 and bore atleast one son, Abel Lisenbee. The spelling was changed. They were from Illinois but am uncertain to the county. Brown, Greene, Henderson, and other counties show up in my line. Sorry I could'nt be more help. Have you heard of any of these names?

I have been looking for how Mary Naught was married to for years .At the same time Abel was born so was John in the same Coitt is next to Brown the two Co. were one at one time .I have lost Abel in 1840 and coud not find him agen I think he is my GGGranddad .

Alonzo Dorman was my Grandfathers 1//2 brother their father George"Lewis" Dorman was married to Eliza Reeves and had Alonzo and 3 others. ,then married Susan Berry , Walter and Oscar were their two. Walter Married Luzinia Lisenbee my grandmother and they had 11 children including my Dad Wayne. Luzinia also had a brother named Alonzo. I have one question that I am confused about concerning your line. It has occurred to me that you may have miscalculated the number of greats in your family line from Charles. According to my calculations, if you were Charles' g-g-grandson, you would not be alive at this time, or you would be around 130 yrs old, and I kinda doubt that you are that old.
