Searching for information on Addie (Adeline) Young Ray, born 1864, MS; wife of James Madison Ray. Her children include: William Ray(married to Emily A., children Lois E. & Lola M. Ray) and Lula Ray ( marrried to ? Pippin, child Cleve Pippin). This family was in Rogers, NM in 1930 and in Portales 1939.

I am the Grandaughter of Cleve(C. or P.) Pippin(or Pepin or Pipin) His mother is Lula(or LouElla)Ray and we think his dads name was George. Anyone with any information, please contact me. Thank You Very Very much.

These are the marriages dates from Burleson County, Texas:
George Pippin to Lula Ray - December 17, 1901
George Pippin to Carrie Doss - 28 Apr 1907

You are very welcomed. Would you happen to have an obituary for Addie Young Ray or her brother, Peter Young? Both died and are buried at Roosevelt. I live in Texas and do not have access to the newspapers there. Thank you!

I found them on "obituaries for James M. Ray in Roosevelt County, NM. There is a whole bunch of Ray's-including the ones for Addie and her son Willie:)
