Heinrich Stapelberg was born in Hesepe, Germany between 1845 and 1853. He married Mary Thom on January 31, 1890 in Crawford County, but lived in Shelby County. He had three children between 1892 and 1897, but was apparently dead by the 1900 US census. I am looking for any information, especially regarding his immigration and death.

The correct spelling of the residence in Crawford county is Nishnabotna.

There are 2 Hesepe: one Hesepe is Gemeinde Geeste, Emsland
and the other ist Hesepe/Bramsche, Kreis Osnabrueck.
I found a Anna Adelheid Stapelberg, born 6. April 1787in
Stapelberg, bapt, at Hesepe on 9. April 1787.
