My grandfather was in a oil rig fire around Dec. 12, 1955. He and my grandmother lived in Andrews at the time. My grandfather died. His name was Jewell Grant Kirkpatrick. I would appreciate if someone could find either or both the obituary and the newspaper article about the fire and send it to me. I live near Waco and would help you this direction. Thanks so much!

No. The lady that tried to help me did not find a newspaper article on my grandfather's death. I don't have a death cert. I have death cert. for other family members and forgot the cost. Seems like it was 25.00 so one can spend a lot of money. Since I knew the info. on him, I had not sent for one. Do you work in a office where a death cert. is obtained? Let me know the cost.
