First Irsih ancestors I have discivered and I know this is pretty wide ranging but have no idea where to start with this search. Have John Francis O'Connor (born Cork) and Teresa Hayes (born Kerry) married 20 Feb 1868 in Co. Kerry, according to their daughter's BC. Light on any other details.

Again, with Winifred's BC, John was born around 1844 and Teresa around 1849. Winifred was born here in Australia but no clue as to when they migrated or from where.

Happy to do the searching if any Irish experts out there can point the way!

My name is Nicole Ouellette from Lowell, MA. I have an ancestor name Lena O'Connor from Kerry whose father was Edmund O'Connor and mother was Ellen Hayes. Just wanted to see if maybe there's a connection between your O'Connor/Hayes and mine. Lena migrated to Brisbane with her husband Thomas Casey and died there 9/11/1949.

It's quite a while since your post. In the meantime the Kerry parish records have come online at www.irishgenealogy.ie
This looks like the marriage of John Francis O Connor and Teresa Hayes.

There is no information on father's names but there is an earlier baptism showing for Teresa in 1850 on the site.

I looked onto the websites you provided and it said that Teresa Hayes was born March 3, 1850 in Ballynvarrig, Kerry to Gerald Hayes (who was one of two witnesses to Teresa's marriage to John Francis O'Connor) and Mary A. Falvey.

Have you come across this info anywhere in your research?
