My grandfather John Bernard Cummins Cole married Clara June Emmons from Wisconsin.

They had a son in 1938, my father, John Bernard Cummins Cole Jr in Los Angeles CA.

My grandmother contracted tubeculosis when my father was very young and admitted to a sanitorium.

Sometime later, my grandfather disappeared.
