Hi. I've been hitting lots of dead ends searching for George Washington Diehl (b.1839)who lived mostly in Mifflinburg area. Have unverified info that he served in 51st PA Regiment Co E during Civil War. He appears in 1910 W. Buffalo township census but Rebecca is in 1920 census as widow and apparently died 7/14/1921 in around Mifflinburg too. Strong suspicion leads me to think he/they are buried in Long Cemetery, Mifflinburg but have no solid verification. Any leads or definitive information would be hugely appreciated.

Sorry, I've now discovered that my 2G GF, George Washington was not in that PA volunteer outfit. that was apparently my 3G GF, George (b. 3/22/1807). So still have no solid leads on his unit, and would greatly appreciate any information on that AS WELL as the higher priority - finding the burial location of he and my 2G GM, Rebecca (Kleckner). I last find them in the 1910 census (

). I had discovered a George and Rebecca buried in Globe Mills; but they are not the relatives I seek. thanks!
