I am looking for a connection for my Great Great Grandmother. Her name was
Luise Marie
Sophie Dorothee Nieber. In
America, we have known her as Louisa. I have a number of photographs, as well as some pages of the family bible... She was born 09 Sep 1849 in a town called Hudenmühlen. This is in an area of
Hanover, Germany called the "Heidmark". Louisa married a guy named
Christoph Heinrich Friedrich Grünhagen on 07 Feb 1875 in Schwarmstedt. They had two daughters, one of which died as an infant. The other was named
Luise Anna Grünhagen, but we knew her as Anna. She was born 05 April 1877 in
Essel. Several years later, the family immigrated to
America. They settled in
Douglas County,
