My great-great-grandfather was Benjamin Elsberry, b.Mar. 6,1824. He was born in GA and was in the Confederate Army. His son, my great-grandfather, was Edgar Elsberry, b. May, 1860. He was the father of my grandmother, Mattie Elsberry, who married Emmett Alexander. I have reason to believe
that there was Indian blood in the family. I don't know where the Elsberry's lived before they came to GA. My grandmother was born in Dallas, GA, Paulding County. I would appreciate any info on the Elsberry's.

Benjamin Elsberry was also my Great-Great Grandfather. I haven't had much luck going back farther than him either. Would love to get in touch with you to get your line records as I am trying to include all my Elsberry kin in my research.
