Am looking for descendants of Gilbert & Grace Holmes who were listed in the Swift Current 1916 census with Daughters Hazel 5 yrs and Velma 2 yrs.
Grace was born Grace Douglas in Shawville, Quebec, abt. 1884, daughter of Adam Douglas and Elizabeth Nettleton.
Grace & Gilbert were in Moose Jaw prior to Swift Current.
A brother, Albert,was resident in Moose Jaw prior to joining the WW1 military but address of Brownlee given upon discharge.

With regaurd to your inqiry as to Grace Jane Holmes,She was my Grandmother whom I never met. My mother was Hazel her sisters Velma and Emily and a Brother Doug.There was a baby that was adopted to a family some whear neer Estavan Sk.
