Unless you have some information like his parents names, Let me suggest that you start with getting a copy of his death certificate. although I'm not familiar with AZ records,
most DC's normally would include things like his mother and fathers name, his occupation, place of death and burial
and an "informant", which is the person providing the information for the doc.
Also you should be able to get a copy of his birth cert.
Both of these should get you started.

Hollis's father was Harvey Elmer McBee, born October 6, 1891 and died June 1964. Harvey's wife was Anna V. Baysinger. Harvey's dad was Samuel Edward McBee, born February 1859 in Missouri. Hey Danny, nice summation! Melissa and I have talked on the phone and on Facebook, and have come to the conclusion that what you have written is essentially correct.

Melissa and I are first cousins once-removed, since she is the daughter of my first cousin Rodger, whom I may have met when I was too little to remember.

We are hoping to get a couple of yDNA samples into our McBEE study. It is really gratifying to find family who have been separated for so many years.
