The Edward found, based on age, etc, place of birth, place of mothers birth, has established full search criteria. You may know of Hazel and Mildred.
The Edward
Carter found in Mass. by the other "person" is NOT the correct person, nor is the person identified as his "father".
The John William
Carter whose obituary you seek does not appear to be the correct person, as the John
Carter, son of Edward was registered with a birth of 23 July 1912. BUT, the proof is not in the birth index, the prove MUST be further obtained with other records.
