I am looking for descendants of the Mathias Gengler / Anna Margarethe Rausch(born 1775) family, as well as descendants of the Valentini Gengler / Maria Catharina Rausch (born 1780) family. I am researching the Charpentier Family from Luxembourg. I have a picture of a 50th Anniversary for Theoadore Scharpenter(Charpentier) of High Street, in Aurora, Illinois about 1917 at the Luxembougers Hall. There is a mention of Mr. Gengler who was supposed to be the stepfather of Theodore Scharpenter Sr. My uncle has the original in his records. The first Jean that I have a record of is the son of Georges Charpentier and Catherine Wagener. Jean was born 1-26-1841. He had a son Jean Pierre who was born 3-25-1866. Does any of this match anything in your records?
