I have some newspaper articles from Humboldt Co, Nev, about Mrs. Ida Downing: (1) notice of marriage license issued in 1894 to Ernest T. Downing and Ida J. Miller; (2) two death articles re: Mrs. Ida Downing. Mrs. Ida Downing was a native of Calif., aged 29 years at her death; she died in Dun Glen (now Pershing Co). Her mother and stepfather are listed as Mr. & Mrs. C. Gegg. She is buried in Winnemucca in the same plot with the Gegg's. I can't recall if the graves are marked or not. Hope this helps.

My "Gegg" is from Germany, Known as Charles Gegg, I have been told he changed his name when he came to US from Karl to Charles and I am not at all sure what Gegg was originaly, sorry, this is not much help
