I'm searching for informations/documents/photos about the jewish Grimberg Families of Jassy and Ramnicu Sarat.
My grandmother Frima bat Pincu Dupuis, nee Grimberg was born in 1899 in the roumanian town Ramnicu Sarat. Her older brother Emile ben Pincu Grimberg ( born. ca. 1890/95 in Ramnicu Sarat ) was killed as a roumanian soldier in the WW I in 1916. The parents of Frima and Emile were: the chamber painter and cantor Pincu Grimberg ( nee 1870 in Ramnicu Sarat, dies by an accident on work in 1910 ) and his wife Tiva P. Grimberg, nee Kleinberg ? ( born 1872 in Ramnicu Sarat, killed by the roumanian fashists in 1941 ).

My Great Grandmother on my Paternal side Name of Henriette Markovitch of Galatz Romania Emmigrated to France her family late 1800's. Met her Husband Joseph Spigler from Jassy Romania in Paris (my great grandfather). Henriette's mothers maiden name (my Great-great Grandmother) was Rebecca Grimberg.
Rebecca was married to a Lazard Markovitch from Galatz I assume.
Only records found so far is Henriette and Josephs Marriage Certificate 1901 in Paris with both Rebecca and Lazard Markovitch's name.

My family tree is at www.myheritage.com and is named "Schoubert Project". Let me know if we might have a common thread. Start with Pauline Schoubert and move up from there. New at this but this project is even better than reading any Novels !

An added note regarding my great-grandparents. They were Hana (nee Grimberg) and Hersh Moscovitch from the county of Botosani, possibly town of Saveni. They had at least 3 daughters, Rebecca/Rivka, Brina and Rachel. All moved to the UK, where they are buried. Hana's father was Asher/Uscher Grimberg.
