I am told the attached maybe the home of my great great grandparents who lived in Mästerby, is there anyone who can confirm this? Family Names: Olof August Söderholm, born 3 Sep 1846 in Mästerby and died 22 Dec 1908 in Fergus Falls, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, USA. His wife, Johanna Charlotta Larsdotter was born 25 Jul 1844 in Skogs, Mästerby and died 12 Jun 1938 in Fergus Falls, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, USA. Their first three children were also born in Mästerby :

I have doubts that the house is in Mästerby parish, bacause Mästerby parish is landlocked, and this seems to be by the sea (or at least a large lake).

Thanks so much for the info, I do have family from Klinte and Sande as well but I agree with you, I think this home is by a lake, so that leads me to believe it is probably from the Vassviken area, even though someone well known to the area told me they didn't think so. I wish I could find a local historian to help me.

Are these the instructions you've used?

To include images

The simplest way of inserting an image is to do as follows:

1. Press the Bifoga följande... button. It's below the area where you type the text of your message.

2. A new window will be popped up. It has instructions in English, so simply follow those.

3. When the new window has closed, you will see a code in your message text similar to this one: \popgif{157240,xxxx} This code represents your image. When you press the button Förhandsvisa/posta meddelande, you will see a preview with your image in its context. If you want to move the image in the text, you move the code around in the text.

Note that the image must be in either gif or jpg format, and the maximum size is 100 kByte
