Would like to exchange information with anyone researching the family of John Henry Orr, his wife Margaret who were married about 1897 and lived in the Hammond area.
Their son Harold Orr married in 1918 and the wedding notice reads; son of the late Mr. & Mrs. J.H. Orr...the grooms parents and sister having lost their lives in the past year.
Thanks,
Leigh.........

I am researching the family of John Henry Orr, who was killed in a collision with the GTRY. I have newspaper accounts of the accident. I am trying to confirm that there was a younger son than Harold Wilbert, and his name was Kenneth Richard born in 1915 and after the death of his parents in an automobile crash was raised by his grandmother. Can you confirm this information?

Thank you for your help,
Marian

On death regos of Florence and mother Margaret it says they were killed by collision with automobile -was raining and they were killed instantly and on John's it says he was killed by G T Ry and he lived an hour.
Did the car get hit by a train?
Their obituary may name their children.

There is a Kenneth Orr, 8, listed as son living with George and Maim Orr in Elizabethtown Leeds on 1921 census.
There is another Kenneth Orr but he is living in St Thomas Elgin County.

Martha Orr, grandmother, died 1905. David Orr died 1925. Both in Grenville.
