Seeking names of any Cahill that was a passenger
on the ship, John Francis out of Cork Ireland...year,
1850 to unknown port, USA.
My Great Grandfather Dan Cahill 17, his brother John 18?
and sister Anna [ Johanna ] Cahill age 20,were on the passinger list. Did they travel alone or were there other Cahill relatives on board? And where did the ship, "John Francis" dock after reaching the USA?

Any help appreciated.
Sharon

Hi,I Have a Theresa Cahill in my family tree, she was Irish and went to India around 1860.
I assume she went to USA first with her Father Bernard, but cannot find much details.

I know she had a child in India and named Francis george Rumsey, her husbands last name.
She later married my G Grandfather John Moon in 1868
She diedin India, but as I say have no details. ?

Maybe relations ?

Good luck

My Great Great Grandfather came out from Ireland around that time. He was a ships Captain and the family history was in Whaling. The family also transported convicts from England to Australia a in some cases Africa to America
