I found a
Cannon family in 1900 living in Long
Creek,
Grant Co., OR.
Abraham D. Cannon, b. MO, July 1844, marr 22 yrs, farmer.
Mary A. Cannon, b. IL, Nov. 1842, wife, had given birth to eight children but seven alive in 1900.
Effie P. Cannon, b. OR, Nov 1880, single.
Edna L. Cannon, b. OR, April 1883.
Earnest H. Cannon, b. OR, Dec. 1885.
Glenn L. Gilchrest, grandson, b. OR, Nov 1897.
I assume this is the correct family because an Edna L. Bayless in 1930 was living with her husband, Charles F. Bayless and chldren in
Hood River,
Hood River Co., OR.
But then there are two Ernest Cannon's who died in
Oregon.
