I am searching for mor knowledge about a Perle family from a town called Griesel (maybe in Poland today?).
a vicar in Griesel called Christian Gottfried Perle living at least from mid 18th century (a daughter of his was born 1785).
I am interested in everything possible to know about this family.
Other names in the family (children?)is:
Friederike Wilhelmine CarolineTugendreich Perle (his daughter my grandmothers grandfathers mother)

I have inherited letters written to a "cousin" in the family Martini probsbly from:
Eduard Perle (?)
Dorothea Perle (?)
Auguste Perle (?)
Emilie Perle (?)
Leopoldine Perle (?)

there is also a man called
Perle, August Rudolf Christian Friedr.,
mentioned in edelleute, the german noble genealogy site

Someone know anything more about this family from Griesel?

Steve

I was surprised to see the name "Perle" on the Polish site. My grandfather's middle name was 'Perle"..and I have no idea where that came from. He was born in New Ipswich, N. H. USA b.1897..d.1979. His full name..Roger Perle Blood. His mother's name was Addie Lottie Thompson. This may be a strand of your family. If it serves to be useful, please do let me know. Sincerely, Kathleen, Kanicki, Kelly

Dear Kathleen:

I have no idea if your relatives and mine are related. This part of Brandenburg is now Polish since 1945 and it seems like there is no documents left after the bombings etc. This family Perle seems to have been quite big, many members but no trace to be find more than what is written in my own documents. If I find something I will let you know.

sincerely yours: Steve

hello,
i know that in 1809 mr. Perle (I dont know his name) bought a land in Griesel and built hunting castle (which still exists today). Shortly after he had financial problems and asked a Knights Loan for credit to keeping the castle. Then to Griesel arrived mr. Krause, to estimate the value of this property. He wrote that the castle is ruined, Perle didnt get a loan, and Krause bought this lovely castle at auction...
I know this story from a short elaboration about Griesel, there is nothing more about Perle family. maybe you could say more about Perle and Griesel now?
regards!

Hello: Thanks for your information. I do not know so much more about my grandmothers grandfathers mother but that she had this brother "generalmajor Perle" and from some letters I can read that her brothers daughters and sisters name for example Eduard Perle this is written probably in 1820´s. It seems like a difficult "case" this but I am very thanksfull for this piece you´now given me. best regards Steve

I know nothing about your family but I know Griesel (Gryżyna). My family have summer house there since 1979. We all love this village and we are deeply interested in the history of this place. It would be great if you find any documents, pictures or other information about Perle's period in Griesen.
As you wrote "hunters palace" still exist. Some old polish lady is the owner of his property today.
