Hello, I am searching for any information on Dr. David GUNN who was murdered outside of an abortion clinic in Pensacola, FL in March of 1993. I beleive him to be the son of my grandmother's brother's son Wilson GUNN. If this is the same David GUNN then he came from Marshall Co., KY. Any information on this man would be greatly appreciated. There was a write up in People mag. about him from what I remember he spent time in Brewton Ala I think when he started. He was living in Fernidina Beach Fla and going back and forth when this happened. I remember so well because I am from Pensacola and was in Fernidina Beach the weekend after it happened. Go to the library and see if they have copies of People that go back that far. It was a good peice that gave his roots I just can't remember. If they don't have it contact People. Good Luck BJR

There was a Gunn Family that lived in the 200 block of De Soto Street in Pensacola FL in the early 1940's. I stayed with my Grandparents for a very short period during that time and knew the Gunns, who lived in a large home next door to them. My Grandparents lived on W. de Soto. I always thought that Dr. Gunn was a descendant of this Family, but I have no idea if he is, for certain.

I believe he was buried in Winchester,Tenn. I seem to remember he had family there but not sure if he was from there.
