Do you have any documents which might give a clue?

My Grandfather's name was Dranoff. Derived from Dranofsky which was written at immigration incorrectly. The correct name is Dranovsky and many of this clan were from Zvenigorodka, Kiev, Krozskrie, Ukraine, Russia. Many, many Dranoffs arrived in Pittsburgh and I understand that my G-Grandfather was one of 18 children. I would suspect they are all related in one fashion or another.

Also, of interest, there is a section at Mt. Lebanon cemetery that many Dranoffs are buried that is dedicated to the families that came from Zvenigorodka.
