I am hoping to find someone in Allen Parish (or nearby) who can help me with my grandparent's grave. I know that they are buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oakdale, as stated by Sacred Heart Church itself. I have reason to believe that their graves are unmarked. I would like to have this confirmed. If someone is available to visit this cemetery (it isn't very big) to investigate for me, I would be very grateful. Their names are Leonard (Ernest) "Peg" Breaux and Thelma Eloise (nee Peters) Breaux. He was born in 1906; she was born in 1924. They died together in 1956.

But if you haven't found any info. you are looking for yet. go to www.findagrave.com It is A great Genealogy website. search by their name,Cemetery name,Parish,or town. if their name is listed there is A link on there to request a Photo of the headstone. If they are not listed don't give up ask one of the Volunteers in the area to do some research for you. and Search their names for that area they may be in another cemetery also. I volunteer for Find A Grave, and I was born in Oakedale. but I live in Texas now or I would do it for you. I hope this helps you. thanks Todd Townson
