We are a family living in Norway, which has lots of family in Hungary.
BUT we do not know the address or the name of our relatives.
...My grandmother was born in Marosvasarhelj but grew up in Vezsprem, her name is Katalin Szabo born 02.03.1909.
I know she had five sisters,her parents name was: Istvan and Katalin Szabo.
I think some of her sisters name was/is: Erzsebet, Rozsa, ilona,margit and maria.
The adress to their home was bartók béla út 14.
She was married to Georg von Toth, who was from Budapest.
My grandparents fled from Hungary, and settled in Austria.
When my grandfather died my grandmother came to Norway with 4 children.
Now I really want to get in touch with my family in Hungary, but do not know where to begin.
Maybe you could help us??

The photos are wonderful! Szabo and Toth are both very common names in Hungary; Have you tried the phone directory? I do not think I can help you but I wish you luck.

I know this is very common surname in Hungary, but the hope is that some recognize them selves, or perhaps their mother or father.
I've tried everything. I have also paid money to a company that would try to find our family. But we paid a lot of Euro without getting anything in return.
So now I'm trying facebook, and this forum.
If anyone has an idea where I can start looking, I would have been ecstatic.
