Does anyone know what years both the LaPine then the Van Nocker photography studies operated in Alpena? Knowing this could help better dated pictures. The 1920 Census shows Gilbert and Mary LaPine, ages 89 and 73, respectively, living with Edwin and Mabel Van Nocker, ages 52 and 38. Perhaps the Van Nockers put their name on the studio between 1900 and 1910?

I have a baby picture labeled "Thomas Torche" taken at the Van Nocker studio. So far, I have not found a Thomas Torche in the census but perhaps it was taken between 1900 and 1920.

This could be Forche rather than Torche

I don't know what years it operated, but, VanKnocker married an aunt of mine Mabel LaPine. My uncle Norman Boutin also worked there. I'm trying to find info on her father and mothers family.
